TPA3116 2x50W Audio Amplifier- Bass-Mid-Treble Control

This TPA3116 amplifier also has a bass, midtone and treble control. It's a bit bigger than our normal TPA3116 amplifier and the TA2024, but it's still ideal for a crate radio etc.!
We recommend our 24V power supply to get the most out of the amplifier.

Note: At low voltages the LED will be less bright.

But, it does not stop here. The circuit board is in fact made in such a way that numerous modifications are possible. The only thing you have to do is to connect or disconnect surfaces that are close together. For this you only need soldering and soldering equipment. This is possible:

• Circumvent diode: The pins of the diode can be connected to each other at the bottom of the PCB. This makes the amplifier more efficient, but loses its reversal protection.
• Potentiometer measure bypass: Connect V1 and V2.

Additional modifications (replace components):

• Replace SMD coils with through-hole coils (can provide better audio quality). Only do this if you know what you are doing.

Note: If you want to perform a modification, disconnect the amplifier from speakers, power supply, audio input etc. This will prevent damage.

It is even possible to convert this amplifier into a 1x 100W mono amplifier. However, this is strongly discouraged because of the too small coils. So do not modify S1 to S5 unless you know what you are doing. By connecting S1 to S5, the amplifier is converted into PBTL mode for a 1x100W mono amplifier. (At 2 Ohm) After the modification, the minus of the right channel becomes the "min of the speaker" and the minus of the left channel the "plus of the speaker".
