Pro Mini 3.3V 8MHz - ATmega328P

This Pro Mini 3.3V is based on the open source design of Arduino and is a copy of the SparkFun Pro Mini 3.3V, making it both hardware and software compatible with the Arduino ecosystem. The Pro Mini 3.3V is a very compact board, with an ATmega328P microcontroller. The board does not have a USB to serial converter and USB port, so you cannot program it via USB.

We recommend programming the Pro Mini with an USB to Serial converter such as this one: FT232RL

Note: Check the pinout when using the FT232 module! You can check this by checking the VCC and GND pins. It is possible that you need to connect the FT232 upside down.

Note: The voltage regulator on these Pro Mini compatible boards can only handle a voltage up to 9V DC on the Vin/RAW pin, while the original boards can handle up to 12V DC. A voltage above 9V DC will cause the voltage regulator to overheat or malfunction.
