This microSD card is very suitable for the Raspberry Pi and also for simple applications, eg to set up audio files or for the Arduino Ethernet Shield.

The capacity is 16GB (effective 14.4GB) and the speed complies with the Class 10, UHS-I and A1 standard with SD cards.

This card is widely used in combination with with the Raspberry Pi and our tests showed that this card gives the best performance given the price. This card is particularly good for small blocks of data, which makes it very suitable to use in combination with a control system such as Raspbian.

The card comes with an SD card adapter (in a blister pack) and is formatted in the FAT32 file format by default.

For more information see the Sandisk website (type number: SDSQUAR-016G-GN6MA).

This SD card has a 10-year warranty via Sandisk. For more information and conditions see the warranty website from Sandisk.

Note: This SD card only works on 3.3V. So make sure you use a level converter if you have a product that does not have it built in and works on 5V.
