MKS Gen L V2.1 3D Printer Motherboard

A Marlin based 3D printer board with a lot of extra features for your 3D printer. 

The board is based on an ATMega2560 and can control five different stepper motors and two hotends (drivers not included).

Furthermore, the board has a large number of extra connections, for example to connect bed leveling, extra fans, or LED strips. It can be powered with a 12V or 24V power supply.

The main difference between the MKS Gen L V1.0 and V2.1 is that with the V2.1, 2p Jumpers (included) make it easy to change what kind of communication the Motor Drivers use. So no more loose cables are needed for this.

  • A4988 of DRV8825 (Default in 3D printer), TMC2208 (Silent drop-in replacement for A4988), TMC2130 (Advanced silent replacement with integrated end-stops)
• 4 PWM mosfet connections for heated bed, hotends and fans.
• 6 End stop connections (x-min, x-max, y-min, y-max, z-min, z-max)
• 3 Different 5V outputs
• 3 Different 12V/24V outputs (the input voltage of the power supply)
• 4 Layer PCB, optimized for heat dissipation
• Resettable fuse for short circuit protection (USB only)
• USB-B connection for connection possibilities with a computer/Raspberry Pi
• CH340 USB Serial converter

Note: The board does not have an SD card connection, you need an extra module for this. The RAMPS 1.4 Smart Controller with LCD 20*4 of  RAMPS 1.4 Smart Controller with LCD 128x64 are LCD screens with built-in SD card functionalities. If the display does not work, the display connections may need to be turned.
